Study Information

In the study, you will see a series of pairs of images depicting the trajectory of either wrist or ankle movements in the form of line drawings. You will also be asked to complete 2 short questionnaires prior to beginning the experiment - the answers to these questions should reflect your experiences pre-Covid.

Your task in this study is to observe each of these trajectory image pairs and decide how beautiful you find them to be and how much you like them. You will also be asked to indicate whether the image looks like movements of the wrists or ankles. Finally, you will be asked to indicate which emotion from a list of five options you believe the movement (from which these drawings were created) was intended to convey.

At several points throughout the experiment you will also be asked to answer some questions which are unrelated to the main task. You will see images of animals and on the following page you will be asked to name the animal you just saw.

The whole study will take around 45 MINUTES to complete.

Contact the study administration in case of questions.
